Elvin Leon Lynn was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma, January 4, 1929, to the parents of Dennis F. Lynn and Grace Lillian Lynn. Leon lived on the farm with his parents and graduated from Ralston High School. During those years he worked the farm with his dad.
Leon later met Joan Morris from Fairfax, Oklahoma and they were married in 1950. He and his wife, Joan, moved for work in Wichita, Kansas for a short time and later moved back to The Big Bend and purchased farmland. In 1963, he sold the farm and moved the family to Oklahoma City, then Ponca City, and made a final home in the Tulsa area for his family until he passed from this life to his heavenly home.
