Leona JohnAl Gogan (Johnny) went home to be with her Lord on October 15, 2020 with her two daughters by her side.  Johnny was born February 27, 1938 to John and Ruth Shimp in Bixby, OK. She grew up in Bixby where she attended and graduated from Bixby Public Schools in 1957.

She married Richard Gogan in 1958 and welcomed her first child, Ronnie Lee, the next year, followed by her three daughters, Thelma Ruth, Phyllis JohnAl and Amelia KayAn.

Johnny enjoyed many things but her family and her faith in Jesus were her reason for being and her joy and passion in life. And for Johnny, "family" wasn't just about blood.

Johnny's heavenly greeting committee included parents John and Ruth; sisters Sally and Sarah; daughter Phyllis and granddaughter RaeLynn along with many others who knew and loved her.

She is survived by sisters Barbara and Bea; brother Jim and their spouses; children Ronnie Gogan, Thelma Lambert and Amy Fulks; grandchildren TJ Stubblefield, Brandie Moore, Katrina Smith, Ashley Friend, Emily O'Reilly, Drew Lambert, Emma Fulks, Hillary Smith, Richard Fulks, and Randy Fulks Jr. as well as 18 great-grandchildren along with a host of people who loved her.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Traditions Funeral Chapel, 35 S. Main, Kellyville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services in Kellyville.
