Obituary

Linda Kay Cooper, 77, of Sapulpa, passed from this earthly life on the evening of April 23rd, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Linda was born June 9th, 1945, in Tulsa, OK at "The Flower Hospital" to Aubrey Thomas Carter and Sarah Nell Stone Carter. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, A+ grandma, and a compassionate friend for many. Linda met the love of her life, Allan Gene Cooper, on her first day of junior year at Webster High School. They were married on November 23, 1963 in Sapulpa. While Gene was in the Army, they traveled all over Europe in their early years together. Linda loved nature, travel, games, shopping with her girls, and spending time with her family.
Linda was always the first to talk to a new person or offer help in whatever way she could. She was generous, thoughtful, and kind.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Gena & Paul Giacomo of Tulsa, and Cindy & Coby McGuire of Sapulpa; her grandchildren, Kayley, Cole & Cassidy; and a long list of loving family and friends.
Linda was one-of-a-kind and will be deeply missed. Her final resting place will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Memorial Services will be held on May 2nd at 1:30pm.

Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
