Linda Sue "Susie" Akin
May 29, 1946 – May 2, 2025

Linda Sue Akin, lovingly known as "Susie," passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, just weeks before her 79th birthday. She was born on May 29, 1946, in Vinita, Oklahoma.

Susie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Akin, parents, Pete and Marie Crabtree; her brother, Jim Crabtree; and her sister, Phylis Stockton.

She is survived by her children, Danny Akin, Mike Akin, Troy Akin, and Malissa Rodriguez. Susie's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Amber Slape, Haley Akin, Emily Akin, William Akin, Amanda Akin, Ashley Woods, Dominga Hernandez, Ana Rodriguez, Selena Rodriguez, and Henry Rodriguez. She was also blessed with 13—and counting—great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

A graduate of Tulsa Technical School, Susie worked there for many years, dedicating herself to her profession and her community. Outside of work, she found joy in ceramics, playing cards, and curling up with old black and white movies, always with her little dog nestled in her lap. Above all, Suzy had a deep love for babies and eagerly welcomed every new life into the world with open arms and a warm heart.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for family, and her quiet strength.

Memorial services will be 10am, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S Main in Kellyville. 918-247-7373
