Louis Joseph Brown, 74, was called home June 3, 2020.  He was born to Joe and Lorene (Dunn) Brown on January 19, 1946.  Louis was the second of nine children.

Louis is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lorene Brown; grandparents Ralph and Martha Dunn; son Joseph "Scott" Brown; grandson Jace Allen Roberson; five brothers and three sisters.

He leaves behind many loved ones which includes his best friend of 40 plus years Phil Bell; his loving wife Dorothy Jane Brown of the home; daughters Martha Brown of Tulsa and Shawna Brown and fiancé JD Lovell of Kellyville; grandchildren Erick and Joan of the home, Cassy Brown and Ambrose Brown of Jenks, Serenity and Dakota Watashe of Tulsa, Anthony Roberson of Tulsa and Bobby Lovell of Kellyville; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and countless other family and friends.

Louis is a lifelong active member and Chief of Polecat Ceremonial Grounds.  He served his country by fighting in the Vietnam War and with an Honorable discharge was sent home in August of 1968.  He enjoyed working outdoors and helping others to build things.  He loved spending time with his family, joking, laughing and sharing his life stories.  He is loved by many and was truly a great man, friend, husband, father and Chief.

There will be a wake service at 7:00pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Brown Family Home, 23551 W. 131st St. S., Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  Services will be at 11:00am, Saturday, June 6, 2020 also at the Brown Family Home in Sapulpa with burial at the Watashe Family Cemetery.
