Luanna Columbus 63, went to be with the lord January 28, 2021 at her home in Kiefer, Oklahoma. She was born September 17, 1957 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Herbert and Martha Fox of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She is preceded in her death by her husband Michael Ray Columbus, parents Herbert and Martha Fox, brother's Phillip, David and Roger Fox all of Sapulpa,  She is survived by son's Michael Anthony Columbus of Albuquerque, NM, Luke and Aaron Columbus of Kiefer, Oklahoma; brothers Mark and Sheila Fox of Sapulpa, Micah and Janie Fox of Glenpool, Adam Fox of Norman, Steve Fox of Sapulpa; sisters Stephanie Fox of Broken Arrow, Melinda Fox and Lydia Pickering of Sapulpa.  She had 2 grandchildren Sheriah and Josiah, plus she had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Luanna was married to Michael Columbus for 42 years ever since they met in high school. She attended Jones Academy in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. They had three boys together which they loved very much. She worked at Pleasant Manor Nursing for years until she became a full-time homemaker the later years in her life. Luanna loved to watch sports as she was scorekeeper for her boys during their baseball playing days. She was an avid Oklahoma State fan but sometimes would root for the Sooners .

She loved to cook (biscuits were her favorite), she loved animals especially her favorite dog Bebe' who was her friend and companion. She attended church regularly until her health declined but she remained strong, resilient and happy during her last days. She will always be loved and missed by many family and friends but will never be forgotten! Luanna will always be remembered as a wife, mother, sister, and grandmother! Thank you for giving us 63 years of a joyous life with many great memories. Now no more pain and suffering, celebrate in heaven with past loved ones as we all will be together one day!

Pallbearers will be Robbie and Chris Leaf, Dylan Fox, Micah Fox Jr., Brent Johnson, and Phillip Stanford. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Soweka, Eric Williamson.

The apostle Paul put it this way, "Forgetting what lies behind, I strain toward what lies ahead". That word "Strain" indicates it's going to take effort. You go through a bad break, or loss, the easy thing to do is sit around and talk about how bad life's treating you. But if you are going to keep moving forward, you gotta h ave a strong will. You gotta rise up like Paul and say, "That's it. I am not holding on to these ashes. I know what is in my future is greater than what is in my past, so I am pressing forward in life! There will be a visitation from 6-8pm, Monday, February 1, 2021 at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.  Services will be noon, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 also at Traditions Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Fox Family Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S.
