Lucy Mae
Tiger
Oct 18, 1964 — Jun 14, 2026
Sapulpa
Lucy Mae Tiger, 61, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on June 14, 2026, at 6:47 p.m. at Hillcrest Medical Center, surrounded by her family and friends.
Lucy was born on October 18, 1964, at Claremore Indian Hospital to Clarence and Lena Tiger. She graduated from Hanna High School and was a member of Weogufkee Ceremonial Ground.
Lucy loved following her grandchildren around and was always down for the ride. In the last few years of her life, she truly embraced enjoying life. She let go of fear and started to fly. She lived for her family and did anything and everything to help them or simply to see them smile.
She loved baking pies, spoiling her dog and grandchildren, and one of her favorite things to hear from her grandkids was, "Don't tell Mom, Grandma," and she wouldn't. Lucy loved attending stompdances and riding with Kaitlen and Kowboy to all the dances. She enjoyed staying with Jewl and helping at Peach Ground, cooking for the camp. She cherished her unbreakable friendship with Melvin, who was someone she could always depend on when she needed to talk. The bond between Lucy and her daughter was built on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Lucy will be missed dearly.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lena Tiger, and brothers, Chebon Tiger and Hully Tiger.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Alice Tiger; grandchildren, Keland Bearpaw and wife Micha, Kailyn Bearpaw and fiancé Darieon Johnson, Kowboy Tiger, Cotane White, and Chivas Smith; great-grandchildren, Zoday Bearpaw, Santay Bearpaw, yahEkw@nE Bearpaw, sAwE Smith, and EnA Smith; sister, Kristi Hooper and husband Shane; brothers Clarence Tiger Jr., James Tiger and wife Mary and Michael Tiger.
