Obituary

Forever running barrels, crafting, decorating, and dancing in the sky. Margie Cochran, 71 of Kellyville, Oklahoma died peacefully in Oklahoma City on November 15, 2023.

Margie was born in Fussen, Germany on August 30th, 1952, to Frieda and Albert Frost. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and started her career as a secretary at Emco Termite & Pest Control. She worked there for many years until she discovered her true talent. Margie was an artist at heart and loved making gift baskets, gift giving, decorating, and any type of craft, turning this passion into a business, Le Jardin. This was her pride and joy. After retiring, she went on to work as a bookkeeper for Evergreen RV Park in Bristow part-time.

Margie met the love of her life, Bradley in the early 80's. It was love at first sight. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married September 20, 1991. They built a house on Cochran Hill and resided there for the past 31 years. Tons of great memories were made there for the entire family.

Margie had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were.  Especially her darling Bella Boo.

Though she loved her hobbies, her beautiful daughter Tami, and her closest family and friends, her favorite role was being Nana. She treasured her time with her grandkids & great grandkids.

She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church devoting her time and energy to her faith.

Margie will always be remembered for her loving, charismatic, spunky self. We'll always remember seeing her dance or hear her sing (way out of tune). We couldn't have asked for a better wife, mom, sister, nana, or friend. We will miss her every day. Margie's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Frieda & Henry Goforth and birth father Albert Frost.

She survived by her husband Bradley Cochran of Kellyville; daughter Tammie and husband Ronnie Allen of Chouteau; grandchildren Meagan and husband Jayson Brandon of Salina, OK, Ronnie and wife Cessaly Allen of Chouteau, OK and the baby Jennah Allen; great-grandchildren Beau Allen, Layne Brandon and sister Chris and husband Kim Jeffries of Sapulpa, OK.
