Margaret Marie King 77, of Sapulpa, went home to be with Jesus on May 4, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.

Margaret was born June 8, 1946, in Tulsa to Lowell and Betty Smith. She graduated from Glenpool High School. She was employed by Kellyville Public Schools as a paraprofessional for 20 years.

Margaret met and later married the love of her life Dale King. They recently celebrated 54 years of marriage. She was a member of Pentecostal Mission Holiness Church.

In her spare time, Margaret loved sitting on the porch with Dale and watching the birds. She was an avid shopper who loved shopping for her kids and grandkids.

Church was a big part of her life, and it was evident by the life she lived. She had a selfless spirit, always putting others before herself. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Dale, daughters Janetta Neafus and husband Tommy, Starla Thompson and husband Jonathan, son Dale King, Jr. and wife Reba, grandchildren Berkleigh Thompson, Chasity Chapman, Kelly Pittman and husband Taylor, Shanna Stephens and husband Ben, Cheryl Reinoso and husband Keith, great-grandchildren Wyatt, Jessie and Clayton Stephens, and Liam Reinoso, brother Dwain Smith and sisters Donna Cash and Naomi Smith.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Pentecostal Mission Holiness Church in Sapulpa. Services will be 10am, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, also at the Pentecostal Mission Holiness Church in Sapulpa with burial to follow at the Kellyville City Cemetery in Kellyville.
