With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Margaret "Margie" Leatherwood, who peacefully entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

Margie possessed an extraordinary spirit of love and compassion, exuding boundless happiness and warmth toward everyone she encountered. She holds a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Margie was born on June 19, 1957, in Odessa, Texas, to Sherlene and Donald Leatherwood. She graduated from Midland Lee High School and has been employed by Southwest Airlines for the past 39 years.

Margie is survived by her brothers Larry Leatherwood (Karen) and Gary Leatherwood (Pam), and little brother Steve Leatherwood (Teresa); sister Claudia Pringle; nephews Michael Leatherwood, Seth Pringle, Austin Leatherwood, Hayden Leatherwood, and Hunter Maksymowski; nieces Rikki Leatherwood, Alyson Scully (Tommy), Diana Munoz (Jeremy), Kristina Leatherwood, and many great nieces and nephews.

Margie's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be forever cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, her memory serving as a guiding light for those she has left behind.

Service will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 2956 S. Hwy 48, Mannford, OK.
