Obituary

In Loving Memory of Margie Lee Jones

Margie Lee Jones was born on April 21, 1931, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, hard work, and a love for the simple blessings of country living.

As a young girl, Margie attended Honey Hill Tribal School before moving to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, with her father, Dave Glenn. Those early years helped shape the strong, resilient, and hardworking woman she would become.

Margie was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Diana Kay Jones, and by two great-great-grandsons.

She is lovingly survived by her son, John William Jones of Kellyville, Oklahoma, her grandchildren, Michael William Jones and his wife, Glenda C. Jones, of Buffalo, Missouri, Will Lee Jones of Kellyville, Oklahoma, and Diana Lynn Sims of Kiefer, Oklahoma.

She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Margie found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of country life. She loved spending time fishing, tending to her chickens, caring for her garden, and nurturing her flower beds. Her farm was more than a home; it was her place of peace. She treasured the quietness of the countryside and found happiness in watching nature unfold with each passing season.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, her hardworking hands, and her appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
