Marie Stephens 65, of Kellyville, stepped into heaven on May 25, 2024, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, surrounded by her family.

Marie was born January 21, 1959, in Wichita Kansas to Tom King and Nadine Fisher. She graduated from Gore High School. She was employed by the Creek County Assessor's office as the first Deputy and retired after 25 years where she enjoyed helping people and making sure no one left without a smile. She also grew to love each and every one she worked with and created a bond as close as family.

At the young age of 16 Marie met her lifelong love on a blind date. After 6 short months they both realized that they were going to be together until death did them part. They were Married on May 17, 1975. Marie and Don just had their 49th Wedding Anniversary.

Marie took much joy in helping her community. She was seen as a second mom to many of the kids that grew up around her. She had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. She enjoyed taking care of her garden and making crafts with family. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She was survived by her loving husband Don Stephens, son Jerry Don Jr. and Tabitha Stephens, of Okay Oklahoma. Daughter Megan and Russell Harlow of Kellyville. Son Levi Stephens and girlfriend Nicole Lotz of Kellyville.  God daughter Amber and wife Jennifer Fisher of Sand Springs. She survived by 14 grandkids, Harley, Hunter, Hailey, and Hudson Winfield. Ava and Amelia Harlow. Abbi, Jey, Cheyenne, Ryanne, Bryar, Cannon, Parker, and Dusty Stephens. She is survived by sister Shirley and Gary McFarland, along with sisters Beverly Templeton and Annette Teague. She is preceded in death by both her parents Nadine and Tom Fisher and brother Paul Fisher.

Services will be held at Kellyville First Baptist Church June 1st, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Family Visitation is being held on May 31st from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Traditions Funeral Home in Kellyville.
