Obituary

Mary Ann (Foster) Carr, 76, of Kellyville, was reunited with the love of her life on June 20, 2023, in her home in Kellyville, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Mary was born September 30, 1946, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Elmer and Teresa Foster.

Mary met the love of her life John E. Carr in 1963 on a blind date, they went on to share 50 wonderful years together before his passing. She enjoyed watching Christmas movies on Hallmark and having her family and friends come visit. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She was loved and will be missed beyond words by everyone who loved and knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Teresa Foster; husband John Carr; sons Kenneth Daniel Carr and Timothy Wayne Carr; grandson Kenneth Samuel Chelf; great-grandson Charles David Cruze III (Trey) and great grandbabies the Harden twins.

She is survived by her daughter Tere Bahr and husband Ray of Kellyville, son John Carr and wife Darlene of Cedarville, Arkansas, daughter Maria Short of Tulsa and daughter Terri Carr of Yukon; grandchildren Tabitha Harden and husband Kenneth of Sapulpa, Christopher Cruze and wife Kelley of Sand Springs, Austin Bahr of Kellyville, Kayla Dillard and husband Gary of Keota, Elmer Cruze of Kellyville, Jason Carr and wife Ashely of Bokoshe, Timmy Carr and wife Kayla of Cedarville, Arkansas, Katy Cordell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Karla Chavez of Tulsa, Chass Butler of Florida, Mary Teresa Conarry of Yukon, Jimmy Ray Bahr and wife Candace of Broken Arrow and Samantha Carr of Tulsa; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers Tony Foster and wife Sandra of Texas and Eddie Foster and wife Tammy of Clearview, Florida and a host of other family members and friends.

Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Floral Haven Veterans Field of Honor in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
