IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Matthew Ryan
Plum
June 7, 1987 – September 17, 2021
Matthew Ryan Plum 34, of Claremore passed from this life on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Matthew was born June 7, 1987, in Tulsa to Ronnie Plum and Soni Gordon. He attended Claremore High School and received his GED from Tulsa Job Corp. He was employed by Hoffman Cabinetry.
Matt met and later married his true love, Brittany Taylor. Together they have 1 son, Dawson Ryan Plum. Dawson turned 6 years old on September 19 th .
In Matt's spare time he enjoyed playing "the game." He shared that passion with many friends, but most of all with Dawson. Above everything, he enjoyed being a husband and a daddy. He loved his family so much.
Matthew enjoyed time with his entire family. Giving his mom a big ole hug every time he saw her, was so special. During the holidays, going from one house to another, kept him on his toes. He enjoyed playing the card game Phase 10 and marbles. He also enjoyed cooking during the holidays. When things would settle down, he could be found on the couch or in a recliner, fast asleep. Everyone loved to tease him about falling asleep, especially if he was snoring.
He had a big heart, was caring and compassionate. He enjoyed teasing others about their choice in football teams. He always had funny comebacks to any type of friendly disagreements. He loved and cherished his family and his beard. Yes, his beard! He spent hundreds of dollars over the years on "product" for his beard.
We will all miss Matthew terribly but know we will see him again.
He is survived by his wife Brittany, and son Dawson; his Parents Ronnie Plum and Ron and Soni Gordon; his sister Megan and husband Blaine Parker and his brother Shawn and wife Skylar Gordon; and a host of family and friends.
