Meckie (Bud) Tilford Clayton, 78, of Kellyville, passed from this life Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  He was born December 3, 1943, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Sular (ST) Tillford and Flossie Louise Majors Clayton.

Meckie was a graduate of Daniel Webster High School, Class of 1964.  He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1964 and honorably severed 8 years. He owned and operated the ST Auto Salvage and Garage in Oakhurst for 27 years.

Meckie enjoyed working on cars and spending time with family.  His love was great for his family and his precious dog Fat Fanny Mae. He was loved deeply and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sular (ST) Tilford and Flossie Louise Clayton; siblings Ladessa (Dude) Garrison and husband Orvil, Bettie McNat, Mary (Duck) Pruitt and Johnie Clayton and wife Jessie (Fred).

He is survived by siblings Alvin (Buckwheat) Clayton, Gary Clayton and wife Lela, Terrie (Sam) Isaac and husband Bill, Billy Clayton and wife Glenda, Sular (Skip) Clayton and wife Candy and Kelly Jo (Jody) Clayton.
