Monroe Junior Harmon, age 96, of Sapulpa, OK, passed on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was born on February 8, 1930, to Thomas Peter Harmon and Myrtle Brisco in Bowlegs, Ok.

Monroe graduated from Kiefer High School in Kiefer, Oklahoma, where he lived on a farm with his family.

After high school, Monroe joined the Army in 1948. He trained in artillery, signal operations, and radar/radio ground equipment, and was discharged as a corporal in September 1954.

Monroe was married in December of 1952, to Daphne June Wall. They had four children.

He is survived by two daughters, Connie Rickner of Glenpool and Barbara Bartlett of Broken Arrow, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Donna and his son Daniel.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 3, at Traditions Funeral Chapel.
