Nita Jane Roe, 61, stepped into heaven August 22, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Nita Jane was born September 6, 1959, in Riverside, California, daughter to Theodore Cornelius Reed and Lou Ann (Roberts) Reed.

Nita attended and graduated from Mounds High School class of 1977. After high school, she married Ricky Lynn Roe on June 8, 1979, and they settled down in Mounds Oklahoma. They celebrated 42 years of marriage this past June. She was highly active in children's church and Girl Scouts during her life where she touched and changed many lives.

Nita loved her family more than anything. She loved to take family vacations, go on camping trips and lounge around with her pup Blu and Kitty Leia.

In addition to her husband Ricky Lynn Roe and parents Theodore Reed and Lou Ann (Roberts) Reed, she is survived by her daughter Ericka LaNae (Roe) McGuire and her husband Jackie Ray McGuire and one grandson Gunnar Ray McGuire; two sisters Daina Gaylene Hopper and husband Daryl Dean Hopper and their children DaNeka Estelle Okada and husband Kotaro Okada and child Kaspian Stellan Hiroto Hopper Okada and Theodore Zachary Ivan Hopper and child Jackson Drake Hopper and Tammi LaNae Reed-Barnett and husband Craig Lee Barnett and their children Seth Jordan Micco Reed and Travyn Haney Gaines Barnett.

A celebration of life service will be held August 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Mounds Assembly of God, 216 E. 8 ^th St., Mounds, Oklahoma, 74047, with burial to follow at Mounds Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S.
