Norman (Gene) Eugene Daniel Jr., 51, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Monday, October 25, 2021.  He was born August 31, 1970, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Norman Eugene Daniel Sr. and Janie Pickering.

Gene graduated from Eufaula High School in 1989 where he played on the school football and basketball teams. After graduating he became a security officer.  He married Naomi Tiger, the love of his life, on August 25, 2007, at Butler Creek Indian Baptist Church in Oktaha. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing volleyball and was an avid OU Sooners fan.  He also loved karaoke, playing basketball, football, slow pitch softball, camping and swimming.  However, his greatest joy was his family especially his grandchildren.

Gene is survived by his loving wife Naomi of the home; parents Norman Eugene Daniel Sr. and Janie Pickering; children Christian Wamego of Sapulpa and Deagan Wamego of Sapulpa; grandchildren Josiah McGuffin and Addilyn Wamego; brothers Tuskie Tehee of Sapulpa and Jerome McCosar of Sapulpa; sisters Lucinda (Sis) Daniel of Tulsa and Lorraine Daniel and a host of other family and friends.

Wake services will be 7:00pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Daniel Family Home, 1520 Northaven Court, Sapulpa.  Services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Butler Creek Indian Baptist Church, 6005 W. 108th Street South, Oktaha, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S.
