Onyx Rose Butler, 20, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Onyx was born on April 14, 2003, to Derrick and Dru Butler.

Onyx was very athletic, running track, playing basketball and volleyball at Union Public School which she enjoyed very much. After high school, she worked at several places and was employed at Wal-Mart at the time of her passing. Onyx was a loving person, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, eating and shopping. Onyx was excitedly waiting to become a mother to Sapphire Rose Butler, and she was a very dedicated dog mother to Dutchess.

Onyx is survived by her daughter Sapphire Rose Butler; her mother Dru Butler and father Derrick Butler; her birth mother Janet Butler-Hannah; her nine sister's Destiny, Madison, Derricka, Cierra, Dharmany Butler, Kenya, Envy, Kevelyn, and Donna Hannah; brothers Cody, Blake Butler and Chris Williams and grandparents Sue Hudgins and Selyvetta Franklin.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Sam Payne and Kevin Hannah and grandfather Harvey Hudgins along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and loved ones.
