Patsy Ann Hoover was born June 22, 1951, in Sapulpa, OK. She was the 5th child born to Vergil and Bonnie Romine. On September 1, 2025, the Lord walked her to her Heavenly home.
Patsy attended Kellyville schools until her senior year and moved to Mannford where she graduated in 1969. She attended Draughon's Business School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her first job was with Riley Southwest Heat Changers where she met her first husband Larry Harjo.
They had one son named Yarma Buck Harjo. She was employed by Contractor Supply of Oklahoma and Carlise Coating and Water Proofing. Her last employment was with the City of Sapulpa and she retired after 18years.
Patsy married Glenn Hoover in 1991. They enjoyed being members of the Sapulpa Elks Lodge Post 1118 where Glenn served as Exalted Ruler and she served as president of the Lady Elks.
She enjoyed playing golf, helping to prepare dinners for Elks lodge and being with family.
What she enjoyed most was mowing the yard on the riding mower.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Hoover, mother Bonnie Bay Romine, father Vergil Romine, sister Dolores Thomas and brother Lonnie Romine.
She is survived by her son Yarma Buck Harjo, brother Gary Romine and wife Susie, brother Virgil Romine Jr. and wife Bonnie, brother-in-law Ronnie Thomas, sister-in-law April Romine, nephews Jim Thomas and wife Shelley, David Romine and wife Kara, Jon Romine, Rich Romine and wife Christie, and J. R. Romine and wife Paige, nieces Jaque Lamrock and husband Jeff, Ronda Thomas and partner Brian Stevens, Tina Webb and husband Aaron, Debbie Selsor and husband Rick, Becky Barrows and numerous great nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends. Patsy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville.
