Obituary

Perry Redus was born August 17, 1956, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Edward Cleo Redus and Marcia Lee Mondier Redus Perguidi. He went to school in Kellyville, Oklahoma and resided in the Kellyville/Sapulpa area most of his life. He was an avid race car and motorcycle driver. He restored Mustangs and had a Mustang race car and a Kawasaki motorcycle that he raced and painted it to match the race car he drove. He was a great mechanic and body repair man. He was also a great person with trivia, especially one hit wonders of people who had hit songs and only the one was a hit. He could tell you the name of the song and the band who performed it.

Perry was also a fantastic pool player and won many pool tournaments with trophies and other awards. One time he was playing pool in a tournament with his cousin Ronnie Fisher and Ronnie made the eight on the break and Ronnie bragged that there was no one who could beat him two games in a row to win the tournament. But Perry came back and beat him twice to win the tournament.

Perry was preceded in death by his father Edward Cleo Redus, mother Marcia Perguidi, grandparents Perry and Ollie Willard Redus and his aunt Margaret Jean Redus Davidson.

He is survived by his daughter Amy Redus Stephens, three grandsons, Gage Lawrence and his sons, Adrian and Brantley Lawrence, Paytin Lucas and wife Catelyn and their daughter Mayve McKay Lucas, along with his other grandson Luke Lucas. He is also survived by his sister Joi Evalyn Redus and her family, son Billy Ussery and wife Carrie and their two children Logan Ussery and Halle Ussery with her three children, Autumn, Blayze and Asher, Shawn Redus and wife Tyler and his children Payne, Audree, Morgan, Jordan and Evi, daughter Stevi Harper and boyfriend Patrick Whinery and her children Shayda Milam and husband Shane and son Caydence Billingsly.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Gage Lawrence, Paytin Lucas, Luke Lucas, nephews Billy Ussery and Shawn Redus and great nephew Caydence Billingsly.

Honorary pallbearers are great-nephews, Payne Redus and Logan Ussery, cousins David Mondier, Gary Mondier, Ronnie Fisher and long-time friend and honorary family member Clayton Richardson.
