Phillip Fox, 59, of Sapulpa went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1961 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Herbert and Martha Fox.
Phillip graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1979. He then attended Haskell Indian Nations where he enjoyed running cross country. He started working in the tire business at the age of 14 and continued until he retired. Phillip attended Little Cussetah Baptist Church where he began preaching and was later ordained. He became a Pastor at Mayfair Baptist Church.
Phillip enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed cutting up with everyone. He was an avid OU and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was also the #1 fan of his grandkids. He would also like to remind everyone he will remain the 4
th
grade spelling bee champ.
Phillip is survived by his two daughters Carrie Fox and Jimmie McNac of Sapulpa and Sarah Chisholm and husband Mike of Sapulpa; grandchildren Kylar and Kale Bearpaw, Layla and Maverick Chisholm; and another grandbaby on the way; brothers Mark and Sheila Fox of Sapulpa, Micah and Janie Fox of Glenpool, Adam Fox of Norman, Steve Fox of Sapulpa; sisters LuAnn Columbus of Kiefer, Stephanie Fox of Broken Arrow, Melinda Fox and Lydia Pickering of Sapulpa and a host of nieces and nephews.
Phillip is preceded in death by parents Herbert and Martha Fox; brothers Roger and David Fox; nephews Dondi Fox and Zackary Pickering.
Wake services will be at 7:00pm, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Pre-made meals will follow after the wake. Funeral service will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church. Funeral services will be officiated by David Foster. Burial will be at the Fox Cemetery in Hectorville, Oklahoma.
