Ralph D. (Bud) Cheek76 of Tulsa passed from this life on June 29, 2025. Bud was born August 16, 1948, in Tulsa to Roy and Lillie Cheek Sr.

He was employed with the City of Tulsa until he retired in 1983. He was a United States Army Veteran which he was very proud of.

Bud met and married Sharon Saxton. Together they raised 3 daughters: Kimberly, Debra, and Shannon.

Bud was a caring and compassionate man. He never met a stranger and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bud is survived by his daughter Shannon Contu, brothers Jim, Don, Roy, and Pete Cheek, grandchildren Shelby Lowe and husband Wyatt, Brandi Ernest and husband Casey Ruhl, Sierra Campbell and husband Reese Laywell, Jimmy Paul Rhotenberry and wife Angela, and Brandon Rhotenberry and Kazia Six, g reat-grandchildren Allie, Addie, Aiden, Elizabeth and Nick, Jameson, Easton and Bodhi, Levi, Melanie, Rylan and Emersyn, Michael, Kenton, Damien, J.J., Dreyden, Brandon JR, and Haven.

Bud is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, daughters Kimberly and Debra, grandson Justin Cheek, great granddaughters Arianna and Avery, great grandson Jimmy Paul Rhotenberry III, brothers Jim, Robert (Bob), Dan Wyant, Charley, Todd, and sisters Phyllis & Vickey.

Bud was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Blue Bell Church 20821 West Hwy 33 Sapulpa, Ok, on Saturday 19th at 11 am.
