Ray Leon Barrett passed from this life on August 29, 2019. He was born on April 12, 1938 in Mounds, Oklahoma to Frank and Grace Barrett. Ray was married to Debbie R. Hinman on June 29, 1992 for nearly 30 years. Ray was a man of many accomplishments and hobbies including owning his own construction company for many years as well as collecting barber chairs and poles, signs, gumball machines, clocks, and Case knifes.

Ray is survived by his wife Debbie R. Barrett of Mounds; brother Sonny Barrett of Mounds; sister JoEllen Newman and husband Dale of Mounds; sister-in-law Barbara Barrett of Mounds; sons Jim Barrett and wife Veronica of Sapulpa and Dan Barrett and wife Debbie of Mounds; daughter Amy Stebens of Mounds; grandchildren Chase Barrett, Danielle Appelberg and husband Connor, Marissa Barrett, and Caleb Stebens.

Ray is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Grace Barrett; brother Sam; sister Patty, and many other beloved family members.

A memorial service has been set for 10:00am, Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Mounds. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
