Retha Ann McIntosh (WA-PA-NA-KA-CEE), 55, of Sapulpa, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Retha was born March 5, 1970, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Rhonda Ann Bales and Thomas Squire. She graduated from Sapulpa High School. In her past time, she worked as a Head Start teacher. She also worked as a hot shot driver up until her health got worse. Retha was a long-time member of Duck Creek Ceremonial Grounds. Retha met and later married James McIntosh. They were together since 2005 and were later married in March of 2010.
In her spare time, Retha enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending time with family and friends. She also loved to do crossword puzzles. She spent most of her time at ceremonial events. She had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, whether she was in bad health or not. She loved her children to the fullest and made sure they had everything.
Retha is survived by her husband James McIntosh, of the home. Children Danielle McNac (Felix Carrillo) of Tulsa, Ryan McNac, of Sapulpa, Sisters Lavonna Feeling, of Tulsa, Saumanthia Bales, of Sapulpa. Brother Wilbur Squire, of Tulsa. Niece's Brytnee Perez, Cherokee Feeling, Autumn Feeling, Christie Feeling, Jordan Squire, Jessica Squire and Olivia Menie. Nephew Brandon Squire. Grandchildren, Miguel Perez-Feeling, Ruben Perez-Feeling, Cruz Perez-Feeling, Kamila Perez-Feeling, Jazlynn Lowe, Malakhai Carrera-Feeling, Laiklyn Feeling, Oakleigh Mack.
Retha is preceded in death by her mother Rhonda and father Thomas; brother Samson Squire; Uncles, Ricky Brown and Robert Brown; stepfather James Bales; niece Jennifer Squire.
Wake Services will be Thursday, April 17th. 2025 at 7pm at Little Cussetah Church (7678 E Hilton Rd-Sapulpa, OK, 74066).
Funeral Services will be Friday, April 18th, 2025, at 12pm at Little Cussetah Church.
Burial will be at Watashe Family Cemetery, Kellyville, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are under the direction Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK, 918-247-7373.
