Richard Achille Leslie Jr. went to be with Jesus on June 7, 2025. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Richard Achille Leslie, Minnie Jo Leslie, his grandparents Jesse (Pa Jess) and Gracie (Granny) Moss and William (Pappy) Leslie and Leona (Grandma) Leslie.

Richard (Chile) is survived by a very loving family. His wife of the home Cindy Leslie. His daughter, Nicci Jo Brose, son, Christopher Achille Leslie. Grandchildren, Gracie Jo Byrom and Blake Byrom, Mia Leslie and Taylor Cuevas, Allie Brose, Connor Achille Leslie, Jaylie Brose, Daxton Leslie, Simon Leslie. Great Grandsons Beckham Byrom, Ryker Byrom. Sister Vickie Leslie Rice, and her children, Matt Watkins and Jennifer Watkins and their children Amie and John Moreland and their children, Jake and Stephanie Watkins and their boys Josh and Jennifer Rice and their children, Jessie Rice and Doug and their daughter. Brother, Wade Leslie and Sallye, and their children Amber and Erich Spaeth and sons, Hannah and Tyler Bright and daughters, Jesse and Candace Leslie and their children, Dalton and Caralea Leslie and their children. Brother by heart John Williams and Kathie and their daughter Krystal Williams. Brother by heart, Jerry Brumley and Mary and daughter JoDawn and Luke Harris and their children. He was loved and will be missed by a multitude of family cousins, great nieces and nephews, not all by blood, but in his mind, they were his family.

Richard loved spending time with his children and grands. Playing catch in the backyard. Going fishing, sitting around the table playing games. No matter the activity, Richard always seeked an opportunity to teach life lessons. He loved watching his granddaughters wrestle and his grandsons run around the track and teaching them that it is not always about winning, it is about doing your best, never quitting and always striving to be better, not just in sports, but in life in general.

If Richard were asked what the best years of his life were, he instantly would tell you about coaching little league baseball, and wrestling. He strived to teach his young athletes the love of the sport and life lessons to take to take them to adulthood. He spent the last 15 years as a lawn guy. He loved being outside and mowing lawns. He was a perfectionist and was proud to leave a lawn looking beautiful. He was always happy to spend time talking to his customers even when it slowed him down for the day. He loved life and never took it for granted.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, 3pm, June 11, 2025, at Broadway Baptist Church. 1000 N Adams Rd, Sand Springs, Oklahoma Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral Home in Kellyville.
