Robert Gene Dawson was born on April 18, 1960 in El Paso, Texas and died unexpectedly at the age of 60 at his home in Tulsa, OK on August 28, 2020.

He is survived by three Daughters: Morgan Hunt and husband Jeremy of Lincoln, Arkansas, Sherri Peden and husband Trevor of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Nanci Dawson and fiancé Devon Brust of Blanchard Oklahoma; his father Robert Gene Dawson of El Paso, Texas; three sisters: Becky (Michael) Brooks, Susan Dawson, & Michelle (Jay) August; seven grandchildren Wyatt Hunt, Brihnlee Hunt, Lili Peden, Layne Peden, Merik Eggleston, Zepplin Brust, and Honor Brust, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy Searle Dawson, stepmother Linda Dawson, sister Cheryl Dawson Ward, and grandparents Robert and Charlotte Ship, Marion Cowley, and Jim and Mel Searle.

Robert spent most of his early adulthood travelling for work as a lineman for cable companies.  He loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.  He liked taking a worn-out Harley, rebuilding it and getting it ready to ride.

Graveside services provided by Traditions Funeral Home of Kellyville, Oklahoma will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Kellyville Cemetery in Kellyville, Oklahoma.
