Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" L. Duke, 80, of Oakhurst, Oklahoma passed from this life on January 6, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital with family and friends by his side. He was born January 3, 1942, in Tulsa to Faller and Arlene (Heath) Duke.

Ronnie attended school at Webster High School, he then went on to faithfully serve his country in the United States Army, serving a tour in Vietnam.

Ronnie raised and bred some beautiful champion fighting cocks (Roosters). Ronnie enjoyed his fighting cocks, chickens, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, gardening, going to pow wows with his buddy J.D. and spending time with his family and friends.

He had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his two children R. Shane Duke, Dori Duke (Danny); stepdaughter Loy Powell; grandson Chance Hall and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, January 10, 2022, at Traditions Funeral Chapel.  Services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, also at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville with burial to follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
