Rose Marie Snead 79, of Sapulpa passed from this life on December 7, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Rose was born March 24, 1943, in Broken Arrow to parents William and Chrystoline Boles. She attended Sand Springs Beauty College, spending many years as a cosmetologist. Later she found her true love working with children. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education and worked for NACT Headstart and later Grandma's Daycare in West Tulsa. She was lovingly called RO-RO by the children. She was loved and cherished by the children and her co-workers.
Rose had a big heart and lots of love for her family and friends. She is survived by her sister Imogene (Jean) Flesher of Coweta.
Her children Allan Johnson and wife Carletta of Sapulpa, David Stout and wife Jacki of Sapulpa, Christina (Tina) Stout of Sapulpa Janie Loudermilk and husband David of Jenks.
Her stepchildren Jeanette DuPont, Zoe Ann Stout, Kenneth (Kenny) Stout and Raymond Snead.
Her grandchildren Stephanie Roberts, Jonathan Johnson, Ashley Coffey, Kaitlyn Johnson, Angel Wilborn, Christopher Stout. Tiffany Deckard, Tyler VanGilder, Ryan Loudermilk, Melissa Arthur, Damon Arthur and Brent Snead.
Her great-granddaughters Victoria and Vanessa Deckard and over 30 great and great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Chrystoline Boles, brother Perry Boles, husbands John W. Stout and Earl "Floyd" Snead, stepdaughter Jeanette Snead, grandchildren Lucretia Ward and Chrystal McCoy.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm, Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be 12:30 pm, Monday, December 12, 2022, also at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville with burial to follow at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK, 918-247-7373.
