Obituary

Samson Robert Squire was born April 10, 1968 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Rhonda Bales and Thomas Squire. Up to the second grade, he lived in Earlsboro, Oklahoma then moved with his family to Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was a proud member of the Absentee Shawnee tribe.

He is preceded in death by his first daughter Jennifer Leigh Anne Squire; mother Rhonda Bales; father Thomas Squire, and stepfather James "Jimbo" Bales.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Carolyn McNac of the home; daughters Jordan Squire of the home and Jessica Squire of the home; his only son Brandon Squire of the home; twin brother Wilbur Squire of Sapulpa; sister and brother-in-law Retha and James McIntosh of Sapulpa; sister and brother-in-law Lavonna and Joseph Squire of Glenpool, and sister Samantha Bales, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He spent 20 plus years working at the Tire & Lube Express at Walmart. He would always talk about how Jimbo taught him how to fix cars and that is what made him make a career out of it.

Sam was a quiet individual with such a huge heart. He was a hardworking man who did everything to provide for his family. He would always get excited about this time of year because the holidays were coming up. He loved decorating the house for the holidays and going to the Halloween stores when they opened. Some of his favorite things were garage sales, being around family, cooking out, cleaning his truck, bigfoot, and riding around on his mower.

He loved watching movies and would always ask Brandon what new movies were going to be coming out.

Sam loved his family. He was a soul that got along with everyone. He loved sitting around the fire listening to everyone talk and recounting old stories. He loved his co-workers; he would always come home and tell about what happened at work that day. He would have the biggest smile on his face talking about work. Wherever Sam went, you could not help but smile or start laughing. He was that light that could make any dark space not so scary. He will be deeply missed but the memories he made will forever be remembered.
