Sandra Anne Dobson White, of Sand Springs Oklahoma, stepped into heaven on January 28, 2025, at her home in the presence of family.
She was born on July 31, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA to Verma and Bill Dobson. She grew up in Sapulpa, OK and graduated from Sapulpa High School. Sandra spent her working career as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant. She worked for various companies throughout her career including Sun Oil, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, Bank of America and Green Country Marketing.
Her hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles, board games, traveling, cooking for her family, OU football, Hallmark movies and spending time with friends and family. She took up gardening later in life and lovingly named all of her plants. Her favorite was her Rosebush named "Martha".
Her most prized role in her life was motherhood and carrying on family traditions. With faith, sacrifice and determination, she raised 3 children independently. They were the joy of her life, and she took great pride in the adults they became, as well as the grandchildren and great grandchildren and bonus grandchildren that came after.
Sandra had a caring and compassionate heart, a quick wit and loved to laugh. She took time to get to know everyone she met. She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Parents Bill and Verma Dobson; her sister Jeanette Dobson and her oldest son Terry White.
She is survived by her children Shelley White and Tracy White; daughter-in-law Nancy White; sister Linda Sandlin; grandchildren Bailee White, Abigail White, Chase White, Justin White, Bethany Moore, Stephanie Hillan, Hanna White; great-grandchildren Cooper, Griffin, Tyler, Reilly, Cayden, Landon, Paige, Kyleigh, Starla and Neveah; bonus grandchildren Charley, TJ, Nicholas, Daniel and a host of other family and friends who loved and adored her.
Memorial services will be Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville with inurnment to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
