Scott McGuire, 55, of Kellyville Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 with his family by his side at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his father Dan McGuire and his grandparents Ross and Minnie McGuire and Charlie and Roxa Feeback. He is survived by his son Cody McGuire of Edmond, Oklahoma and his daughter Taylor Barnett of Wichita, Kansas; mother Lorene McGuire of Kellyville, Oklahoma; brother Mark McGuire and wife Terri of Kellyville, Oklahoma; sister Dana McGuire of Bristow, Oklahoma and brother Ross McGuire and wife Angie of Mannford, Oklahoma along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He graduated from Kellyville High School in 83' along with attending Drumright VoTech. He would find his calling in the medical field where he worked/or the Creek County Ambulance Service and in 92' would graduate with an Associate in Respiratory Care from Amarillo College. He was a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a little over 25 years and was known to his colleagues, friends, patients and patients' families as caring, compassionate and knowledgeable.

His passion for playing the bass guitar and love of music led to not only performing with a number of bands over the years and a lot of local musicians who would become lifelong friends, but to playing on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Scott enjoyed playing, performing, and sharing that part of his life with his family and friends.

Scott was known for his great sense of humor and quick wit, along with the love he has for his family and friends. Whether it was good food, drinks, playing games, watching a movie, camping, seeing a concert or just a good road trip it didn't matter as long as he was getting to share that with the people he loved. And for the unconditional love he showed, the laughter and a wonderful life of a little over 16 years shared with Nickole his wife of their home in Kellyville who he is also survived by.

Scott's memorial will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Creek County Fairgrounds in Kellyville from noon to five o'clock to celebrate his life.
