Sherry Diane
Hughes
Sep 27, 1961 — May 13, 2026
Sherry Hughes, 64, reached her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family by her side.
Sherry was born September 27th, 1961, in Walnut Ridge Arkansas to Bill and Mary Million. She graduated from Sapulpa High School, where she loved being a Ping Ping Co-Captain her senior year. In her earlier years she loved skating at the roller rink. Sherry was employed at National Oilwell Varco since 1981, taking a few years away to take care of her kids in between time.
Sherry met the love of her life in high school and after graduating married David Hughes. They lived and loved their 46 years of being married.
Along with her family, she loved everything Dallas Cowboys, OU Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder. She also loved to dance to every song. In the summer she loved camping at the lake or taking a dip in the pool.
The saying “To know her is to love her” fully embodies her. She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband David, her children Lucas Hughes and wife Cheyanne, Stacy Hamilton and husband Anthony. The greatest grandson she could ever ask for, Harlan Ray Hughes. Her brothers Barry Million and wife Joy and David Million and wife Darcy. Her nieces, nephews and great nephews. Her extended family and so many friends who loved her dearly.
