Sharon Kay Whitehead age 63 a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 23, 2024, while surrounded by her family. She was born on June 9, 1961, to Ben and Alice Cooper in Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Sharon married the love of her life Steve Whitehead on April 4, 1978, in Bakersfield, California. She loved going to church and helping others. She enjoyed going to the Indian Community Center, spending time with her grandchildren and family, fishing, traveling, sewing, arts and crafts, all the holidays of the year and she loved her dog Petey.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father Ben Cooper and mother Alice Cooper; siblings Benny Cooper, Eugene Jack, Karen Hans and Linda Momsen and many other family members and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Steve Whitehead of Sapulpa; sons Orlando Whitehead and wife Jessi of Kellyville; Esteban Whitehead and wife Angel of Sapulpa; brothers Michael Cooper of Tulsa, and Terry Cooper of Enid; grandchildren Jonathan Whitehead, Sage Whitehead, Chris Whitehead, Eli Whitehead, Kirsten Whitehead and Landon Whitehead; great-grandchild Asher Whitehead and several step-grandchildren and many more nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Sharon was a beautiful soul who will be sorely missed, though we take solace in the fact that she now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior.

Wake services will be 7-10pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Traditions Funeral Chapel. Services will be 2pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, also at Traditions Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral Home, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK, 918-247-7373.
