Shirley Yvonne White, 82 of Sapulpa, Oklahoma stepped into heaven on Thursday, March 24, 2022.  She died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on August 27, 1939, to Luther and Beatrice Childs of Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Shirley married her true love, Asbary Franklin White on April 10, 1962.  After many years in California and Arizona Shirley and Asbary along with Shirley's mother Beatrice brought their children back to Shirley's hometown of Henryetta, Oklahoma.

In 1998 Shirley lost the love of her life, she now spent her years watching her children live their lives and took on a role as Granny.  She was always smiling and offering all her love and attention to a new generation.

Shirley was our Mother, our best friend, our shoulder to cry on, our problem-solver and our link to the past, she kept the memories of the loved ones lost alive with beautiful stories.  An incredible and amazing woman that will be loved and missed by all that knew her.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Asbary Franklin White and parents Luther and Bearice Childs.

She is survived by two daughters Glenda Sale of Riverside, California and Loretta Coe of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; son Martin White of Sapulpa; nephew (son) Lance Hickes of Marathon, Floridia; five grandchildren Rebecca Lingenfelter of Columbus, Ohio, Nicholas Corente of Los Angles, California, Samantha Corente of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ryan White of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Cody Coe of Dewar, Oklahoma; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 2 nephews and 2 great-nephews.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
