Stephen Gene Baker, 69, left this life to run with the angels on August 22, 2023. Steve was born on November 4, 1953, in Tulsa, OK to Bobby and JoAnn Baker of Sapulpa. He attended Sapulpa schools and worked as a drywaller his whole life.

Steve faithfully served his country in the infantry of the United States Army.

Steve met the love of his life, Patty Reichert, in 1976, and they recently celebrated 47 years together. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and attending concerts. He was avid lover of the Texas-Oklahoma Red Dirt Music community.

He is survived by his wife Patty, his children: Stephanie Bane and husband Darren, Bobby Baker and wife April, Jeremy Baker and wife Jessica, and Cassie Baker-Weiss. He had a host of grandchildren which brought him great joy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Red Dirt Relief Fund of Tulsa, OK.
