Susan Diane Tillman, 68, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Friday, August 13, 2021.  She was born March 19, 1953, in Corcoran, California to Minnie Modine & Doyle Therlo Barnhart.

Susan was saved in November 1962 and baptized in January 1963. She married Larry James Tillman on November 15, 1969, and in her words, "my one and only love." They were married for 52 years. Susan and Larry resided in Corcoran, California until relocating to Oklahoma five years ago.

Susan dedicated her life to her family and had never asked for anything in return. She viewed her family as her greatest treasure and accomplishment. She often spoke of the fact that she had loved only one man and had no regrets and wouldn't have changed one thing. She raised two sons that loved and adored her. The one thing she was most proud of, was her grandchildren.

She enjoyed gardening and crafting and had a special interest in quilting, trying her best to carry on a lost art. Susan worked for Quinn Caterpillar and eventually retired from before moving to Oklahoma. She was a Christian and knew there was a place in heaven waiting for her and we know she wouldn't want anyone to be sad.

She was preceded in death by her father Doyle Therlo Barnhart; mother Minnie Modine Barnhart; brother Douglas Barnhart and grandson James Dillon Tillman.

She is survived by her husband Larry James Tillman; sons Jacob Doyle Tillman and Brian Luther Tillman and wife Denise Lynn Tillman; grandchildren Hannah Carolyn Tillman, Samuel Brian Tillman and Grant Mitchell Tillman.

Services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Traditions Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Oilton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
