Obituary

This is not an obituary. This is the announcement from the friends and family of Susan Watson of her entrance to Heaven. I am here to speak of the highlights and memories of her time here with us.

Susan Lynn was born in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was born to a loving Mother and Father. Pete and Linda Little were proud of their brand-new baby girl, born April 10th, 1960. Pete and Linda welcomed another baby girl into the world. Now Susan was a big sister to Angie Jane.

In 1969, at Westside Baptist Church, in Sapulpa Oklahoma Susan wholeheartedly surrendered to Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. The rest of her life was spent in service to Him. She was a gifted singer; she sang many special songs in the choir and solos in front of the church. She even attended Oklahoma Baptist University as a music major.

Susan has two daughters. Lindsey born, April 16th, 1985, and Laney was born November 11th, 1986. Susan stayed dedicated to the girls. She made sure they were active in church, and they were because she led by example because she was so active in their church, Kellyville First Baptist. She worked hard, and even struggled. She truly was a wonderful mother.

On August 18th, 2000, Susan Lynn Little married Charles Watson and Susan's family grew. Susan and Charles "were connected at the hip". They enjoyed riding mules and horses everywhere. Behind the old house, they created Susie's mules' adventures. They cut through to create new trails, they had great views of the creek. Susan and Charles enjoyed riding the mountain trails as often as they could. They built Susie's miracle arena. Susan and Charles had plenty of room to train horses and mules, and the whole family enjoys the arena.

Susan and Charles had other things they enjoyed. They loved overalls, they often went to eat at Bookouts in Bristow, where their photograph was mounted on the restaurant wall. They both loved wearing their overalls, especially at dinner trips to Bookouts. Susan was known to get home from work earlier and get ready faster so she could wear overalls. Susan and Charles tried to alternate who was going to wear their overalls. They had other things, like finishing each other's sentences. One of the most endearing things about them, was their faithful and consistent nightly Bible study together. This was such an encouragement and should be a goal for every couple. Charles said they had to stuff fifty years of marriage into twenty-four years. They truly love each other.

Susan is loved by many. She was a kind encouragement to all who knew her. Her last few years of life she endured a sickness. She was in pain, but she never ever complained. Honestly, in her well years I never heard her complain, she always had a joyful song and a sweet smile.

Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Judy Crossland and Christina Dunn. You are both incredible caregivers and loved Susan. You will always be a part of our family.

Susan is now in her glorified Heavenly body, finally at her eternal home in Heaven with our Lord and Savior who she served faithfully while she was here with us. So, to her family in the faith, this is not goodbye it's see you later.
