Tamy Elaine Cottrill 61, of Sapulpa went to be with the Lord February 12, 2022. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Tamy was born June 10, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas to John and Velma Thomas. The second of their five children. She was preceded in death by Velma, her
mother; sisters Jackie Danley and Johnny Faye Thomas and her father John.
Tamy received her GED. In her younger years she worked as a dry cleaner. She ended her working years as a blender at SunOil in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tamy married Stu Cottrill in 2003 and she was widowed in 2019.
Tamy enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked swimming, fishing, cooking, playing games, and watching funny movies with her family. She, also, enjoyed traveling and nights out at the casino.
She was a hard worker, strong, and independent. She was fun loving and beautiful both inside and out. She especially loved the Lord!
She is survived by her children Joey Swift and wife Mandy Swift, Chrissy Swift, Shane Swift and wife Ashley Swift, and Buddy Swift; grandchildren Chase Pape, Brookelyn Swift, Lil Joey Swift, Bryce Teague, Bailey Teague, Braden Teague, Brant Teague, Colton Teague, Dalton Teague, Alexas Swift, Aubrey Swift, Avery Swift, Shaley Swift and Kendra Swift; g
