Galiazzo
September 30, 1957 – November 29, 2025
Teresa Jean Lee Galiazzo left for her heavenly home on November 29th surrounded by her family.
Teresa was born September 30, 1957, in Sapulpa, OK to Jean and Pelo Lee.
Teresa grew up in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1975. Teresa was very active in school being in numerous clubs, band, choir and her biggest love was speech and drama!
Teresa would light up the room when she entered. She was full of love and joy! She had the best sense of humor and could keep you laughing. She never met a stranger, evidenced by her many friends.
Teresa received her bachelors degree in education and master's degree in speech and drama education from Oklahoma State University. She started her doctorate at Purdue University. After Purdue, she moved to Houston where she taught a few years at a middle school then went on to teach speech and drama at Alief High School where she retired after a career that brought her years of joy and happiness.
She married the love of her life, Brad, on October 25, 2003, in the back yard of her best friend. They had a wonderful, but short, 22 years together. After Teresa's retirement, they made their home in Sapulpa.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Brad Galiazzo of the home, sister Linda Cathey (Mike) of Houston, nephews Jeremy Cathey and Jeff Cathey of Houston, great nephew Brenden Cathey and great niece Bailey Cathey of Houston, goddaughter Kylie Cole Foyil of Sapulpa, Aunt Betty Mefford of Sapulpa and numerous cousins in Sapulpa.
She is preceded in death by her mother Jean Lee, her father Pelo Lee, her brothers Raymond Lee and Robby Lee.
Services will be held December 4th at 10:00 am at Traditions Funeral Home, 35 S Main, Kellyville, OK.
