Thirman Edward "Eddie" McDaniel
June 19, 1963 – April 9, 2025
Thirman Edward "Eddie" McDaniel, 61, Born June 19, 1963, in Livingston, Texas to Wanda and James McDaniel. He passed away on April 9, 2025, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Eddie was a man whose heart was even bigger than his presence—a rare soul who truly didn't know a stranger. To know him was to love him. He was born to love, and he did just that, every single day of his life.
Eddie's greatest passions in life were simple and pure: his kids, his grand kids, the outdoors—especially camping—and pie. He loved pie. Whether around a campfire or a kitchen table, he made every moment feel like home. To him there was only ONE Oklahoma and that was the Oklahoma Sooners, he also had a huge passion for the Dallas Cowboys.
Nothing meant more to him than his grand babies, he loved spending time with them as often as he could.
Eddie is proceeded in death by his father Al McDaniel, Mother Wanda Lloyd, brother Gary McDaniel and his nephew Andrew McDaniel.
He is survived by his children Lynn and Fred Clark of Sapulpa, Stephanie McDaniel of Tulsa, Bryan and Paige McDaniel of Bixby, nephew (whom was more like one of his kids) William McDaniel of Hominy and mother of his children who he loved with his whole heart Lark McDaniel.
Grandchildren, Tyler Wick of Kiefer, Dylan and Faith Wick of Kiefer, Dustin and Kayt Clark of Glenpool, Dallas Clark of Glenpool, Kelsi Buck of Tulsa, Jaxson McDaniel of Tulsa, Abby Rose McDaniel of Bixby, Maxwell McDaniel of Bixby, great-nieces (whom were like grandchildren) Khloe and Millie McDaniel of Hominy, his first great grand baby due in June; Baker Wick.
Brother James "Jim" Allen McDaniel Jr wife Sally; sister Margie Katherine McDaniel; sister Laura Lynn Putman husband Dow and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Eddie's legacy is one of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for his family. His laughter, stories, and giant hugs will be missed more than words can say.
