Tommy Wayne King, 80, of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home. Tom was born August 24, 1943, in Charleston, Arkansas to Thomas and Imogene King.
Growing up Tom and his parents played in a quartet where he played the piano alongside his mom. He was a devoted family man who was well known for his unique sense of humor. He could always lighten the mood in any situation. His children greatly appreciated his entertaining ways, especially in trying times. They will forever cherish the memories shared with their dad.
He had a caring and compassionate heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years; Brenda King, two sons; Bill King of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Randy King and wife Sharon of Jenks, Oklahoma, 3 daughters; Renee Vinson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Nicole Singleton and husband John of Atkins, Arkansas, and Crystal (Coby) King and husband Chris, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; Thomas and Imogene King, brother; Lance and grandson; Randy Kyle Stepp.
Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S Main in Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.
