Trinda Darlene Long, 63, of Kellyville, went to be with the Lord on May 2nd, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. Trinda was born December 27th, 1962 to Donna Lajune and Delmer Lee Bruton Sr. She graduated from Henrietta High School and worked many jobs before becoming a homemaker.

Trinda met and quickly married the love of her life, Danny "Pete" Long on August 5th, 1988. Together they shared 37 years, 2 children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild with 2 more on the way.

In her spare time Trinda enjoyed fishing, dancing, watching football and spending time with family and friends. She loved her people fiercely and was always waiting for an opportunity to lend a hand. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Trinda is survived by her loving husband Pete; children Jaquetta Berry, James Alexander and wife Ashley; grandchildren Jonathan Dimas, Christopher Lyles, James Berry, Evan Berry, Derian Jones, Taylor Clardy, Casey Alexander, Hannah Alexander, Lucas Alexander and Stella Alexander. Great grandchildren Luna Dimas, baby boy Dimas and baby Lyles on the way and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her mother; Donna LaJune Bruton; father Delmer Bruton Sr; and sister Lanaya Palmer.

 Services will be Saturday May 9th, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Traditions in Kellyville with a private family burial. Visitation will be Friday May 8th, 2026, from 6 to 8 at Traditions.
