Vera Ann Whitehill born September 1, 1937, in Shidler Oklahoma, passed peacefully on July 23,2025.  Vera was the daughter of Elizabeth Mitchell and Harold Peugh.

Vera was an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader.  In her earlier years she loved the game of golf, hunting, and bowling. Vera was known for her incredible work ethics as a dental assistant and office manager.  She was passionate about entertaining and celebrating holidays with family.

Vera is preceded in death by her husband Ben F. Whitehill, her sister Levina, and two brothers Harold Dean, and Charles.  She is survived by her three children Laddie Sumter, Debbie Simpson, and Kelli Jones.  She also leaves behind son in law Steve Simpson, W.C. Jones, and daughter in law Teresa Sumter.  She will always be remembered by her surviving grandchildren Eric, Annie, Sarah, Riley, and Madeline.

Vera Ann Whitehill in loving memory and forever in our hearts will be known for life well-lived and gone but not forgotten.
