Verona Louise (Tunnell) Smith was born November 24, 1946 to Charles "Bill" and Eva Laura (Dykes) Tunnell in Bristow, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on January 20, 2023 at the age of 76 years.

Verona or "Ronnie" enjoyed her hairdressing career for over 40 years. She loved to cook, thrift store shop, and spend time with family.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Becky Smith of Kellyville, Oklahoma, two grandchildren Robert and Magen of Kellyville, one sister Wilma Janice Tunnell McKinney of Bristow, and sister-in-law LeAnn Tunnell of Jenks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard and Don Tunnell, son Kevin, and numerous aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, January 28th, 2023, at the Bristow Housing Authority Center located at 1110 South Chestnut, Bristow, Oklahoma from 2pm to 5pm.
