Wanda Marie (Payne) Shouse
Wanda Marie (Payne) Shouse, 83, of Kellyville, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She was born in Tulsa, OK to Lee and Tommie Payne on August 2, 1941, and was the 4th of 9 children.
Wanda was employed for 5 years at Bartlett Memorial Hospital and 26 years at Zebco Brunswick as a production supervisor. Wanda married Charles Leon Shouse Sr. on September 17, 1956. On the day Wanda met Charles she was sitting on a pallet in the front yard visiting with her best friend. Charles was driving by with his brothers Bob and Dennis. Upon Seeing Wanda, Charles ran his car into the ditch. Bob was angry, but Charles' children would say that one small wreck was the catalyst for all that would follow. Wanda and Charles would later marry and from that marriage she would bless him with four children. In turn those four children would bless her with what she would consider the greatest joy of her life, her legion of grandchildren.
Wanda is preceded in death by her father Lee Cruce Payne and mother Tommie Paralee Day, her husband Charles Shouse Sr, brothers Joe Payne, Jack Payne, Leroy Payne, and Rodger Dale Day, and sisters Anna Payne, Roberta Kay Payne, and Erma Day.
Wanda is survived by brother Jerry Don Payne and (wife) Sue of Tulsa. Children, daughter Elizabeth McCarty of Glenpool; son Charles Leon Shouse Jr. and (wife) Lynnette of Kellyville; daughter Tammy Rosson and (husband) Bobby of Kellyville; and daughter ReDonda Richardson and (husband) Clayton of Kellyville. Grandchildren Patrick Crawford and (wife) Beth of Glenpool, Delina O'Leary and (husband) Patrick of Bixby; Kristina Reed and (husband) James of Noble, Stanley Shouse and (wife) Rebekah of Kellyville; Jacob Rosson and (wife) Gennifer of Kellyville, Jeremiah Rosson of Bristow, Jonathan Rosson and (wife) Hannah of Tulsa, Joshua Rosson and (wife) Shelby of Kellyville; Starr Jones and (husband) Keith of Tuttle, Destiny Brooks and (husband) Ryan of Tuttle, and Paige Wares and (husband) Jacob of Morris. Great grandchildren Jeffery Crawford of Sapulpa, Chelsea Knepp and (husband) Andrew of Mounds, Christina Griffin of Miami, Taya, Levi, and Kimberly Crawford of Glenpool. Minor and Autumn O'Leary of Bixby, Skylan and Caden Reed of Noble, Mikaylah and Lane Shouse of Kellyville, Jazymn Lawhorn of Texas, Trinity Youngblood and (husband) Austin of Meeker, Millie, Phoebe, Aubrey and Ryan Rosson of Kellyville, Josiah and Elijah Rosson of Bristow, Hazday and Ryzer Jones of Tuttle, Dottie and Major Brooks of Tuttle, Archie and Deegan Wares of Morris. Great-great grandchildren Amera, Vanellope, and Thorin Knepp of Mounds, and London Jones of Miami. As well as Great-great grandchildren to be: Crew Youngblood of Meeker, Benjamin Crawford of Sapulpa, and baby Thornton of Miami. As well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be at 10:30 am, Monday, June 2, 2025, at Canyon Road Baptist Church, 8550 S 49th W Ave, Tulsa, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, OK, 918-247-7373.
