Wesley Allen
Anson
d. Jul 29, 2026
Wesley Anson, 53, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, stepped into Heaven on July 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Wesley was born on July 14, 1973, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Luther “John” and Linda Anson. He graduated from Kiefer High School and enjoyed a long career with EMCO before joining Bennett Steel, where he worked as a truck driver and willingly helped wherever he was needed.
On June 22, 2013, Wesley married the love of his life, Jodie Wheeler, and together they shared 13 wonderful years of marriage. He was a lifelong member of the Kellyville Round-Up Club, where he devoted countless hours watering and dragging the arena while proudly supporting his children and grandchildren in their activities.
Wesley found joy in the simple things in life. He was known as Pop Shoppe’s “official” door greeter, loved picking up his grandsons from school, driving his tractor, caring for his animals, and, most of all, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He had a kind, compassionate heart and was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generous spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther “John” and Linda Anson; his grandparents, Goldie and Albert “Son” Anson; and his grandmother, Juanita Slane.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jodie Anson; his daughters, Abbie Riley and husband Raymond, Ashley Brownfield and husband Colton, and Ryley Anson; his grandchildren, Madison, Paris, Piper, and Zander Riley; Weston, Walker, and Wrenley Brownfield; and Dawson and Drayden Pressler; his great-grandson, Scout Moseby; and an expected great-granddaughter.
He is also survived by his sister, Melinda West and husband Travis; his nieces and nephews, Kaylee West, Mily West, Kobe West and wife Chloe, and Kaden West; his great-nieces, Payton London, Blakely London, and Isabella West; another great-niece on the way; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
A celebration of Wesley’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Coalition Church.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Traditions Funeral Home.
