Wesley Wayne Hudgins, 88, of Bristow, Oklahoma died at home with family surrounding him on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

He was born in Sapulpa, OK in 1936 to Ray and Marcella Hudgins. Wes attended school at Pretty Water Schools and then graduated High School from Sapulpa High School before going to work at McCraken Feed Store. This led into a trucking company and construction business all while operating a small family ranch.

Wes married Barbara Jones on January 9, 1954. They had 3 sons, Audie, Alan, and John Hudgins as well as 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Marcella Hudgins, his sister Norma Peyton, and his sister-in-law Judy Hudgins.

Wes is survived by his wife Barbara Hudgins, sons Audie and wife Kathleen, Alan and Andi Anson and John. Grandchildren Audra Bethel and husband Justin, Amanda McMasters and husband Paul, Amber Walters and husband Adam, Jennifer Hudgins, Chad Hudgins, Emily Vignonee, and Hannah Hudgins; great-grandchildren Jayme Lyday and husband Tanner, Haden Bethel and wife Fayth, Halee Bethel and Colt Humble, and Tucker McMasters; great-great-grandchildren Harper Lyday, Viola Bethel, Audie Bethel, and Bentlee McMasters.

By Wes' request there will be no funeral services. There will be a celebration of life August 9th from 5-8 p.m. at Route 66 Venue. 116 W. 8th Street, Bristow, OK 74010.
