Obituary

Willam Alexander Goodman, 38, of Kellyville, passed from this life unexpectedly on July 30, 2024. He departed this life and started on a new journey.

Alex was born April 6, 1986, to Kathy and David Goodman. He had 3 siblings, Amy Morteith (husband Ken), Andrew Goodman (son Slater) and Kate Mandola (husband Brandon, children Julia and Theodore).

Alex leaves behind for now his mother and father, his sisters and brother, his grandmother, aunts uncles and cousins.

He was an extraordinarily gifted young man. He was a Kellyville graduate. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 224 in Sapulpa, making it to the rank of Life, and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was active in 4-H and excelled at rocketry.

Alex, self-employed, was an accomplished electrician and was an expert in heat and air well.

There was nothing he couldn't do once he set his mind to it.

He had an innate desire to know how things worked. He took apart and put together the family microwave at age 10, and it worked! If Alex told you it could not be fixed - it could not be fixed.

If he became interested in something, he would research it until he knew everything about it - be it a recipe or a 2-stroke engine, which was his latest passion. Alex taught himself how to climb trees and felled large trees safely.

Although he did not have children of his own, he mentored Kayleb and Kyle Hillsberry from childhood to young men. He taught them to read. He loved them dearly as he did their mother, Stephani Brumley, as a sister. He dearly loved his nephew, Slater Goodman, as well as his niece Julia Mendola. He also loved Teddy Mendola, his nephew, though he had not yet mat him.

He was a kind and generous person with his friends and those in need. If you needed help of any kind, he was there.

To say he will be sorely missed is such an incredible understatement.

Remember his motto - live like you are going to die.
